Increased Waiting Period For United States Visa Application Appointment
Colombo, July 11, 2005: The Embassy of the United States would like to inform the public that the waiting period for a visa appointment has increased due to high seasonal demand. The current waiting period is over 30 days for a visa appointment. For student and labor visas, the waiting period is seven days. If you have travel plans to the United States, please request your visa appointment in sufficient time.
