The American Center Library

The Library Collection of over 4,500 books focuses on U.S. society and culture, with an emphasis on the social sciences. Books on U.S. government, economy, business, English language, education, history, literature and the arts, and science and the environment are also available.  A collection of  350 videotapes and 139 DVDs including feature films and documentaries is also available. More than 50 U.S. periodicals in printed format in a wide range of fields are available in the periodical section.

The Information Resource Center is open five days a week except on selected American and Sri Lankan Holidays
