Consular Fees
Note: The U.S. Embassy only accepts payment in the form of bank drafts.
Current consular fees for visas include:
Non-Immigrant Visas:
For all applicants: Machine-Readable Visa (MRV) fee of $131 or Rs. 15,100
Issuance Fee: None for Sri Lanka and the Maldives. For other nationalities, please check the Department of State Reciprocity Schedule for your country.
“L” Blanket petition fraud prevention fee = $500 or Rs.57,500.00 (note: only for work-related "L" visa category)
Immigrant Visas:
Immigrant Visa fee = $400 (Rs.46,000.00)
Immigrant Visa Petition Filing fee = $355 (Rs.40,800)
Diversity Visa Processing fee = $775 (Rs.89,100.00)
